Gig
Played a show last night in Richland Center with a band called Sophia’s Revenge. Decided to snap a few pictures of their set to test out my lens in a low light situation.

Winter Wonderland
Went hiking with Kara on Sunday at Devils Lake and Parfrey’s Glen. Pretty amazing how much of a difference a little snow can make.

Nostalgia
Listened to some old Revolving Doors this morning, and it brought back a lot of memories of us recording the first CD. It was a place called The Tannery which used to be an old leather tanning factory. The two guys who ran the studio rented one of the floors and made a studio there. They had an analog recording set up, so we did it the old fashioned way and recorded it all to tape. Here’s some photos that were taken along the way with my 35mm camera. Try to imagine it being about 85 degrees and the place smelling faintly of the french fries we ate for lunch. And…action!
So I’ve started a blog. Just a few years behind everyone else, it seems. I feel like I just needed a good reason to start one. This reason being my new found love of photography and imagery. These images coupled with the memories behind them will be the bulk of this little corner of the Internet that I’ve set aside for myself. I hope that any reader stumbling across this page will find it at least mildly interesting. Enough that it was worth their time. Without further delay…here we go…
I got a new camera lens today! Better yet, I paid for two day shipping and got it in one day. Thanks UPS! I then proceeded to unpack it and took photos of my apartment.
